Jog/walk checking out the route of one of the running sections of a race my club is organizing, mainly checking out the paths to update the map and checking the most straight route to the controls. Stopped/walked/took pics, went to some paths to record them on the gps and the head back on route and sometimes didn’t stop the watch. Good outing tho, weather was amazing, really enjoyed the trails of the last part of the course <3
Felt a bit out of form up the hills… need to build it up again!!! More long runs..

Liga Gallgea - Serra do BarbanzaA great disaster. Tried to go fast, and maybe was too much for my reading abilities as it was a map where you had to really be careful, basically with the compass. My aim was to have "checkpoints" to aim entering/exiting the baliza, but just was going a bit accelerated and was using badly my bearings as just tried to fit the rocky areas to what I needed to see... = disaster. (+12'45")
Should do the orienteering I know how to do at my own pace, wanted to "try" to go harder, but it just did not work today/with this map. Really enjoyed tho, just annoyed to see I was constantly making mistakes. I do enjoy rocky maps, but it takes me a while to understand them (similar vibes to Maximus Middle few months ago).
A must to come back.
