Roller skiing 1:08:57 [3] 9.74 mi (8.5 mph)
shoes: hjul skate
Mendon with Stina. Its late May and the warm weather has become more consistent. About 72 degrees with a good wsw wind. The pavement at a number of intersections has been ground away to allow paving. this created enough of a lip that rollerskis would not easily roll over so we basically went super slow on some downhills so we could stop before the pavement cut. Another day of not having a lot of energy.
2 PM
Mountain bike 1:43:01 [3] 10.52 mi (6.1 mph)
ahr:112 max:142 shoes: 29er
HH with Stina. A bit warm. First time in a long time that I rode the 29er, it felt weird (slow to accelerate and not handling well in any mud). I did not have much energy so that might have been the problem. Failed to clear a few spots I normally have no problem with. The avg HR seems low.
Kayaking 2:39:00 [3] 10.17 mi (15:38 / mi)
Woodville to Vine Valley with Stina. My first day of the year without the drysuit. Water was cool but would have been OK for rolling with the drysuit.
3 PM
Mountain bike 1:38:47 [3] 10.52 mi (6.4 mph)
ahr:113 max:155 shoes: 27.5
Dryer road with Stina. A really nice spring day Temp ~60 degrees and sunny. Rode steps and ladders, Stormy and VB (uphill). cleared them all.
6 PM
Roller skiing 1:20:13 [3] 11.64 mi (8.7 mph)
ahr:132 max:164
Mendon with Stina. About 58 degrees and sunny, a nice change from yesterdays heat.
10 AM
orienteering race 1:49:01 [4] 5.28 mi (20:39 / mi)
ahr:119 max:146
Sunshine campus/oak opening. Hot 90 degrees by the end of the day. I misspunched. went from 3 to 14 then to 5 etc. #14 and #4 were close on the map and the line connecting controls crossed in a way that I, and at least one other person, saw 14 as 4.
