Bearsden to Paisley including my first ride over the Erskine Bridge avoiding most (but not quite all) of the showers.

Urban Orienteering race 22:47 [3] 4.38 km (5:12 / km) +37m 4:59 / km

First CLYDE local event of the year. 3.3 km straight line route. Started in the rain, finished in sunshine. A good workout, and a pleasure to be running against others with map in hand again. Had to divert on 4-5 due to police tape (BBC website says "Man in serious condition after Paisley stabbing attack".) Official Time: 22:46.

Something a bit different for the CLYDE Terrain Run this week: checking out a possible new orienteering area at Loch Ard with Dave, Alice and Pippin. Hail as we arrived, but sunshine as we were finishing.

Usual Torrence, Baldernock, Mugdock, Milngavie loop on my new bike, which was going fine until the front brakes got stuck in the on position coming into Milngavie, and thereafter it was a bit of a struggle!

Hill Walk 4:12:32 [3] 8.12 km (31:07 / km) +504m 23:44 / km

Am Bioran from St. Fillans with Simon, Kate, Alex, Rachel and Pippin (still dashing around like a dog possessed at the end). Steep and a bit rocky in places on the climb, with great views from the top.
