Running 13:37 [3] 1.86 km (7:19 / km)
Strength & Conditioning (Mobility) 1:00:00 [0]
Another full day, more walking today including steep hills (small quantity of) where my calf behaved itself perfectly. Also zero niggles and issues during soleus stretch and similar activities.
If it's okay tomorrow I'll try a 15 minute jog.
Note
Amused myself at the airport, waiting on my delayed flight, with some mobility shiz, including trying out different uphills & downhills (glasgow airport has a lot of ramps). I amused myself greatly during split squats & lunges, while obsessive women in our departure area accosted Peter Andre for selfies.
I don't think I'd do well with the trappings of fame!!
Strength & Conditioning (Mobility) 1:00:00 [0]
Full day (9 hours) of Move Your DNA workshop. A lot of this stuff is familiar to me, though it's fabulous to see it put together & get a different teacher's perspective.
Interestingly I'm the only other movement teacher there - everyone else is attending for themselves.
Never seen as many barefoot-style shoes in one room before!!
Note
Walked to + from Irish class tonight, no aches or anything. Gonna have to consider running again, though I might wait till Monday
Note
Small quantity of trotting today with the dog when the rain came on. Zero calf pain but it's very solid
Note
In other news, am now able to do 5 reps each leg split squat on the bottom step. It's not pretty, but it's progress.
Doing 5 2nd & 5 1st each night now
Strength & Conditioning (Mobility) 15:00 [0]
Bit of mobility. Can confirm Premier Inn Glasgow Enoch Square has spotlessly clean floors.
Did Sir Tom of Morrison's adductor circuit which felt very achievable.
Then did week 4 Squatember and I found this hard enough tbh without going straight to knee pain or momentum. Keep doing this, it'll help her back line recruited.
Note
No calf pain at all in daily life now. I've this course at the weekend so will try a run on Monday probably.
If I'm seeking particularly marvellous I might try a 5 minute trot on Friday.
I would love to run Ecotrail but I don't see that happening...
