This area was used for the World Cup in 1998 for classic distance qualification races, and has not been used in recent years. The area being used is typical west cork/kerry open mountain terrain, with intricate contour detail in places. It is also very runnable due to low winter growth, but like similar terrain may be wet in places!

The Yellow & Orange courses will use the forest (Ross an Chru na Lua) and its network of tracks.

Definitely an event worth going to as opportunities to race on this type of terrain don't come around too often.
