On the 15th of October The Middle distance World ranking event and the 6th edition of Zagreb Open will take place in the center of the Croatian capitol city. A perfect way to do sightseeing and enjoy orienteering at the same time!
The start of the race will be placed almost in the very center of the city, but surprisingly, that doesn´t mean that there will be no forest running. On contrary, in one moment the runners will have to run at high speed through the heart of the old town, merging through tricky narrow streets and parks and watching out for the pedestrians (remember Venice?) and in the next one they will jump into the real hundred years old forest, which will require classsical orienteering skills. Day before enjoy orienteering in the national park of Plitvice (UNESCO) on first sprint event held in that area
