Navigate through a tangle of steep gullies and beautiful terrain at the RE-ENTRANT RAMPAGE mini-ROGAINE (Adventure Race) at the Brecksville Reservation. Sponsored by the NorthEastern Ohio Orienteering Club, September 12th. The Rampage is a six hour event, and there will be a three hour option, as well as a concurrent regular Orienteering meet (Beginner’s event on trail about 2-3k, 1.5hr score-orienteering course).

The Brecksville Reservation covers over 2,500 acres of the Cleveland Metroparks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Map is a 1:15,000 ISOM orienteering map. Fifty control points will be placed throughout the park (Score-Orienteering format), requiring repeated climbs of up to 200ft; we doubt you will be able to clear this very physical course in 6hr.

Start will be at the Meadows Picnic area. 6 hr starts at 10AM (registration 9-9:30, map distribution at 9:30), 3 hr and other courses from 11:30-1.
Snacks and fluids provided at the finish.
Entry fees:
NEOOC Members: $10 for 6 and 3hr, $5 for 1.5 or beginner course
Non-Members: $25 for 6hr, $15 for 3hr, $8 for 1.5 hr or beginner course
Please pre- Register by emailing Randy Mitchell (rjm2_at_uakron_dot_edu) before September 7 if you’d like a pre-marked map. Walk-up registration available, but you’ll probably have to mark your own map by hand..
