10 Aug update: Travel time to the start has been added on the Schedule page of the website. The longer advanced courses will have significant travel time that should be taken into consideration.

The 2010 US Classic O Champs will take place at Moreau Lake State Park near South Glens Falls.

Orienteering USA will hold a board meeting Saturday at 2:30 at the Queensbury Hotel (event center). The US Teams will have a meeting from 5-6 at the same location.

Registration is now open for the 2010 US Two-day Classic Championships at Moreau Lake State Park in New York, hosted by Empire Orienteering Club. The registration deadline is September 30. Late registrations will be accepted through October 9 for an additional fee.

Most schedule and registration details are now on the website. Course notes and map information will be added later.

In addition, the US Orienteering Team is organizing the 2010 NA Sprint Series Finals, which is also a fund raiser for the US Teams. The sprints take place the afternoon before the US Champs, at Saratoga Spa State Park which is located about 15 miles south of Moreau. And if you're attending the GLOF events in Hamilton, Ontario and have vacation time to spare, NY clubs in between are organizing other events (Niagara Falls on Tuesday, Rochester on Wednesday, and City Search in Saratoga Springs on Thursday evening) to keep you entertained!
