On Sunday December 15, BOK will host its 6th annual Score-O in Umstead park. A “Score-O” involves a course with no predetermined route, in which competitors decide which controls they want to visit, and in which order. This event will have 2-, and 4-hour options.

This is a mass-start event, with both races beginning at 10:00 AM from the multi-use trail parking lot at Umstead State Park (GPS coordinates = 35.867799, -78.752534 ). Access to this parking lot is from the north side of the park, from the US-70 (Glenwood) entrance. There will be a mandatory pre-race briefing at 9:50. Maps will be ready for distribution at 9:00 to provide competitors time for route planning.
