There's no place like Maine in the summer.
Now in its second year, the Maine Summer Adventure Race will bring racers to the some of the most beautiful parts of the Midcoast Region.
This year's 10-hour race will be point-to-point (no circles!) involving trail running (or hiking) and off-trail orienteering through pristine forests, biking on Maine's bucolic roads (and optional mountain biking), and a sea kayaking route specially designed by our local partner Tidal Transit Kayaks.
We will also be hosting a simultaneous 3-hour race for beginner racers and for those looking to get the entire family outside for a day in the woods.
Both races are hosted by the Midcoast Conservancy and designed by the members of Strong Machine Adventure Racing. All proceeds from the race benefit the Midcoast Conservancy.
