What: Introduction to Course planning and Orienteering event organizing, Level 1 (local B-meets).
The participants will get the Level 1 Event organizing certification after fulfilling the course requirements.

Who: Any Orienteer who want to learn about course setting and event organizing.

Cost: Free.

Pre-requisites: Have participated in orienteering events and are familiar with the orienteering map and the sport.

Course-outline: Basic orienteering course setting, control descriptions, planning the event, role of the controller, map/course printing, rules of orienteering, safety, how to avoid mistakes, etc. Your active participation in group discussions and exercises is expected. The main focus will be on the course setting.
