Start/Finish: Beach
the beach is about a half mile straight ahead from the entrance
Yellow:
Standard yellow (beginner) orienteering course
1:10,000 scale map on 8.5" x 11"
Can start anytime between 10:00am and Noon
3 hour time limit AND must be finished by 2:00pm
Long / Short Bubba Goat:
What is a Bubba Goat?
Long course: 11 km (blue course distance & difficulty)
Short course: 6 km (orange course distance & difficulty)
both courses on 1:10,000 scale map on 11" x 17"
Mass start for Long and Short course at 10:00am
4 hour time limit AND must be finished by 2:00pm
Some special rules (ex: forked control, skipping controls, etc) will be shown on the map.
If you run in denim overalls, 15 minutes will be subtracted from your time.
We will have free chili and drinks available when you finish!
