OCIN hosts a Friday "A" middle distance "A" meet at Big Bone Lick State Park. OLOU hosts Saturday and Sunday "A" races at Taylorsville Lake State Park. Friday start times will be 2 pm to 4 pm.
Two Northern Kentucky hotels (Courtyard by Marriott and Hyatt Place) will be offering special rates to orienteers. Both are offering $99 rooms with complimentary breakfast and high speed internet on that weekend. Place Cincinnati Airport - Florence - call hotel directly at 859-647-1170 and ask for Orienteering USA block. Marriott - call hotel directly at 859-647-8504 and ask for Orienteering USA block. There are hotels on the east side of Louisville at the same rates with OUSA blocks of rooms. Country Inn & Suites – Louisville East 502-261-9434 and Wingate by Wyndham - Louisville East 502-261-0644. Camping is available at both State Parks.Unfilled rooms will be released by Sept 22, so make reservations early!
Adult fees for OUSA members $35 per day, junior fees for OUSA members $15 per day; multi race discount will be offered. Old maps of Big Bone Lick (PDF) and Taylorsville will be available online or paper copies by pre-order at $5 each. Lunch sandwiches will be available by pre-order for both Saturday and Sunday.
Pre-registration will be required. Online Registration is now open. Late fee after October 11, Registration closes Oct 15.
