This shortened version of the Forestman event is an ideal warm-up for those doing a IM event later in the summer. Long swim and bike to get the pacing, feeding & hydration sorted and a shorter (but challenging) run to give a feel of how the race prep is going.
Swim 2.6km Mass start. 2 laps of Ellingham Lake. Wetsuits compulsory. Meet / park at Sandy Balls for free coaches to the swim start and T1.
Cycle 120km 2lap road route across the Northern Section of the New Forest - a testing and undulating route to finish at Sandy Balls for T2.
Run 20km on road from Sandy Balls for approx 1.5miles then turning to the off-road section for 1 lap of the infamous Forestman Run Course (It's off-road & hilly!) Gives you a flavour of the "killer run"
