The longest continually running goat race in New England returns for its 40th annual race! The Blue Hills Traverse is a 13-14 km mass start race across the Blue Hills Reservation. Simultaneous with the Traverse will be a local orienteering meet including WYOG courses. Fun for the whole family.
This year's course will follow the original 1973 route and controls, with additional controls from past events. Come out and re discover those great control locations that you spiked, or couldn't find, in the past.
Afterwards we will be having awards for all finishers and some special recovery foods, all in the warm Blue Hills ski lodge.


Event registration includes a t-shirt for all finishers. The mass start will be at 11 AM, with a drive to the start at 10:30.
