Everybody has favourite sounds of summer. Ours are the happy cries of children, the sizzle of a hot barbecue, and the lonely cry of the lost orienteerer... We aim to bring them all to you this June at the annual TOC Champs and Summer Barbecue! In an exciting new twist, we've combined the international sport sensation of high-stakes orienteering with potato salad and maybe cheese sticks! We know - unexpected right? But wait, there's more! Not only do we run about the woods pining for potato salad in tight fitting, oddly coloured track suits, we also crown the TOC Female and Male Champions for the year! Champions will be selected based on the garishness of their track suit, or the fastest finish, whichever has the shortest time. It could be you!
Despite all our posturing and thumping of sunken chests, this is NOT an A level event. The Champs are a fun event for family and friends and no winning, sweating, or even serious trying is required. All are welcome!
