At the E'ville Adventure Run we will introduce two new competitor-friendly rules this year. First, each team will get an hour to study their maps before the start. Second, each team will get both the Part 1 and Part 2 maps to study. (There is a map exchange.) Then they will turn in the Part 2 map before the start. It will be taken to the map exchange for them to pick up whenever they are done with Part 1. This innovation will help them plan their strategy for both Parts 1 and 2 before they start.

The event is on Saturday, September 27. Register today!

Will the map exchange be at the bottom lodge or on top of the slopes like last year ?

somehow I assumed you were going to give out one map with all controls on it, given that you will be offering high-capacity SI sticks for the 6-hr competitors

Does this mean that the lower-capacity SI sticks can be used ? last year you had a download station at the map exchange location.

The map exchange will be at the top like last year so you don't have to climb the ski slopes twice.

Still two maps - one after the other.

With the high capacity sticks, no download (and no clear) at the map exchange. Download all controls at the finish. This will result in much quicker (practically instant) results.

Participated in this race the last two years and really enjoyed it. Great course setting, amazing area with a "few" climbs, impressive maps and good value. Definitely recommend it to others and am trying to get back again this year.

To echo DD11 statements of the map, you can see it here, in a marketing attempt to lure some new people to this event.

Also, I should add, that those doing the 3-hour version of the event will have a half-hour to study their map.

All of these changes will be reflected on the website as soon as the webmaster returns from abroad. (What? He didn't take his laptop?)
