Tullster:
Hi folks

Anyone else have a garmin forerunner 310XT. I'm sturggling to get mine to upload directly to attackpoint. I think I have installed the correct communicators and plugins etc but just get an error message when I hit garmin transfer.
Any tips?

The 310XT is one of the most commonly used Garmins here. Can you say more about what exactly you have installed and what error you are seeing?

Are you running ANT Agent or Garmin Express?

I once again lost the ability to directly upload from the ANT stick to AP so I have to upload to Garmin Connect, download to my PC then upload to AP. Frustrating!

Unless you're using garmin express, my guess is uninstall Garmin Communicator and reinstall garmin communicator... or your browser has started blocking garmin communicator (try another browser)

Nah it's not the browser (doesn't work on either IE or Firefox); it's something wrong with the ANT stick. I used to have it also hooked up to the g/f's 910 and that still worked until I deleted it from the ANT and now it doesn't recognise anything. The Garmin Communicator still works - just not the 310. I gave up on it working for its lifetime long ago.

This used to work pretty seamlessly until they introduced Garmin Connect. Now I have a lot of issues, but mostly they seem to work themselves out if I try a couple of different approaches. About every third time I have to disconnect and repair the watch. Also starting to have weird battery issues with the watch. Sometimes I can go out for a couple of hours, go to recharge the watch and it is 75% or 100% charged. Other times it runs right down to zero after a single use.

Mine has to be manually paired every time I upload anything.

Me too tRicky - and then I have to go search for the actual files in Library/Applications Support/Garmin/History/device#/xxxxx.gpx and upload. Which is annoying.

AP learned where Garmin puts them after the first time, so that is always where it looks for them. At least that part hasn't been so bad.

I have the same problem. Much preferred when the was a wire.

I manually pair and have to retrieve from garmin connect then upload from downloads.

Just batch downloaded the three corn-o runs from last night with no problems. Do not have Garmin connect active.

Hm - well using with Safari, if I search out another folder using a browser for either upload or download, then it remembers that folder instead of the Garmin one, so I do often have to search back to the Garmin history folder, although pretty much have memorized by now! Charlie- are you using another browser where this doesn't happen?

Firefox, and I also batch loaded the corn maze without difficulty. Must have been because it was such an awesome event.
