I was very happy to have our phone/GPS when leaving town.

I'm glad you're there to see Sam do so well. She must be very happy. I'm proud of her, too. It has been great fun to watch the races online and follow the GPS tracking. Yesterday, however, with both men and women racing at the same time, we had tracking on both computer screens but then had not another screen to watch the TV. When Alex finished, I could finally switch to TV on the other screen in time to see the final legs of the men's. It was exciting to watch, especially with TG winning yet another gold. Too bad the GPS quit showing the leaders at the end. :(

I hope you're enjoying Italy. We've been to Venice and Trento so it was fun to see the races there. The mountains in Trentino back in 2009 were some of the most beautiful places I've ever orienteered. Have you noticed all the little shrines in town and in the forests? Please say hello to Judy, Peter and Gail, and Rick and Linda. And Sharon if she's there. Oh, and Ethan and the rest of the team, too. I hope you have a party in the style of Rhonda and Charlie while there.

Good luck with the rest of your 5-day races. It looks like you're all having some good races. And be careful on those narrow roads!
