Discussion: Northwest Junior-Hosted A-Meet

The Northwest Forest Frenzy A-meet will take place in the eastern Cascade Mountains of Washington State in August 2008, pending USOF approval. A team of over fifteen junior orienteers (from COC, BAOC, and DVOA so far) are working together with adult mentors to plan the event!

Yes us juniors are having a great time planning this event, and learning lots!!! I have so much more appreciation for everyone who run these events than i did before. So we would love to see everyone come out and enjoy our hard work!

We just had a local club meet in one of the areas we're considering for this meet, and it was really nice terrain. It was pretty and there were lots of details and well-mapped contours.
