Thinking they left and he's okay, but we need to hear it.

We do not have Dominic Izzo on the list of DVOA members, current or past.

Thanks, speedy. We pulled all the controls except maybe 3, read them all into the SportIdent software and convinced ourselves the only controls he punched were on his course, and were consistent with getting to a convenient stopping point and quitting. It was a large group and no one was waiting for him to finish. The biggest problem was that every person in that group had a single cell phone number, and it didn't work. The cell service was bad so we couldn't do searches on our phones. We should probably ask for an "In case of emergency" number that is for someone "back home" or "not on the trip". We literally did everything we could think of to contact a person in that group. We had people at home searching the internet (we couldn't contact the school---the online number was for the office, and there was no ICE number). We had people searching Facebook. It is a school new to orienteering (we believe), so they don't have a network of people who know them, that we could find, anyway.

@David Waller: We could have taken a photo of the spreadsheet and emailed or texted that picture with our phones.

@All: The question was how to send part of a spreadsheet to someone when the computer had no connection, and none of our phones could be a hotspot.

You could also USB connect a phone to the computer, copy your spreadsheet file to the phone, and e-mail it.

I could possibly upload splits to attackpoint that way. I'll try it. Thanks!

Dominic Izzo is on the splits for Saturday as mp. It looks like he quit partway through the course again, but he punched the finish and/or download.
