Yeah, the wind is a big factor, but luckily it hasn't affected my runs too much so far

Would have been more hardcore if I'd run in the two left foot shoes! ;-)

And well done on both your efforts at the weekend, top coaching and running!

Hang on this guy's a bloody hill runner! I'm working hard to keep myself from being beaten at my own sport first!

And his other half is a proper headbanger (eh, Trace?!) so maybe some of has rubbed off over the years!!!

Yes I do like to think I've had a positive influence on Mark's training ethic. Maybe it will rub off on some of the orienteers and get them to up their training effort as well. Unless everyone thinks I'm a headbanger that is..

Ho ho - but you're a NICE headbanger, Trace :-P. You've always done more training than anyone else I know. I remember Mark Rigby commenting on your 90 mile weeks, saying that he only ever managed six sessions a week - but seeing the kind of miles that someone like yourself kept banging in, week after week, spurred him on to make sure that they were all quality!

Looks like Carnethy have merged with HBT as of the 1st April (see www.carnethy.com) so I'm going to have to tweak my training ethic (more beer!) ;-)
