We in OK Tyr (Karlstad, Sweden) have received a generous grant from our local municipality to do a number of mapping projects and are looking for a mapper who would be willing to spend about the next year in Karlstad doing these projects. About us: OK Tyr is one of Swedens largest orienteering clubs with over 800 members. Karlstad is a smaller city of about 85000 located mid-way between Stockholm and Oslo at the northern end of Lake Vänern. The club has in the past few years, in cooperation with the local municipalties, organized a very successful recreational orienteering project (called Friska Karlstad) which has activated about 8000-10000 persons annually. The mapping to be done is primarily for this project but the maps are also used in all club activities.
