I think it's only appropriate to give Barb, Erin, and Becky thanks for organizing and executing this training camp. It ran very smoothly with no readily apparent logistical errors, and the training exercises were both freshly entertaining and focused on specific skills at the same time. Personally I was just glad to be doing any sort of orienteering, but I am very thankful for having the camp turn out so well.

Once again, thanks to all who contributed and helped pull it together. It was a wonderful weekend indeed.

I agree with Ethan... I thought the training was very well organized and was excellent practice for Team Trials next month. Many of us who live in colder climates haven't had the chance to get in much orienteering at all, let alone such good quality as we did in Arizona. We all learned a lot and had a fantastic time... thanks to Erin, Becky and Barb for all of their hard work!

Thanks for the great experience my two juniors, Michael and Eero, were able to have with all the other juniors, especially also as they traveled separately due to differences in how much time they were able to be off school.
By the way, more pictures anyone?

My thanks too. Even though I wasn't there I could tell from the Bulletin just how much effort went into the logistics and planning. Also, I was impressed with the in route airport coordination to help out juniors that might get stranded due to the winter storm in the east.

Great pics! But, aw shucks, how does everyone but me see a roadrunner in the wild? (For all the trips I've made to AZ I've only seen them in the desert museum exhibit.)

I saw a wild roadrunner in the KOA campground in Las Vegas once.
