Re nice forest: I've been working for a couple of years on the base maps for JWOC 2015 in Rauland, Telemark.

This is _really_ nice mountain forest, from 750 to 1100 m asl, mostly covered in mountain birch but with some spruce and pine as well. The ground cover is mostly grass & blueberry (but only 15-20 cm high, so no impediment to running).

We had a test race last summer (outside the JWOC competition areas of course):
