For those that don't already know, the Michigan 2-day weekend this Fri & Sat (Nov 1st & 2nd) is also serving as an ROTC Land Nav race weekend for the U of M ROTC programs... plus any other ROTC, JROTC, Civil Air Patrol, military, Academy cadets, etc organizations are also welcome even if you're from another area of the country. Trophy awarded for 1st place ROTC unit and medals for the top-3. Scores from both days count towards the scoring, so going to both is the best, but its not required.
So far it looks like we have an Army contingent and also probably some Air Force and CAP. Sadly Navy said there is "no interest".
In the registration process I am also inquiring to see if there are participants interested in competing in inter-collegiates and of course with the hope that those who are interested might also be able to get involved in the Armed Forces Team after commissioning / enlisting.
