I am offering a FREE JUNIOR ENTRY to your choice of 2013 U.S. Night and Relay Championships weekend (3 "A" races Dec 13-15) or the 2014 Flying Pig / US Interscholastic Championships. (also 3 "A" races Apr 4-6).

So, what do you need to do to win this free entry?

It's simple. Just earn the top junior score (age 20 or under) at the DVOA Fall Orienteering Festival's Trail-O event.

That's right, Trail O!

Think it sounds lame? Trail-O may not be super-physical, but take each control seriously and carefully, and it will exhaust you mentally. Trail O will challenge your ability to read fine map detail, relate what is on the map to IOF mapping standards, and test just how well you understand the map and descriptions.

If you are already coming to the DVOA meet, you are already spending lots of money on travel, lodging and more. Spend $15 more to do the Trail-O, and experience a new kind of orienteering challenge.

And if you're the best - there is a free entry in your future, to either next year's Interscholastic Champs or this year's Night and Relay Champs.

This is a great idea. Good luck to anyone that is competing.
