My body is desperate for core and back strength but my mind lacks resolve... I'll do my shoulder exercises as an act of solidarity.

I'm in the same camp Charlie. I've made good progress strengthening my abs over the past year, but back strengthening has lagged behind. It's only when I tweak it again that I recover my motivation to stretch and strengthen my back.

Right on Dennis! You tell em. I just started working on my light weights to finally build back some upper body and shoulder strength. Light with lots of reps. Always thought xc skiing would be the magic pill, but that was 6 months ago.
