thanks .. there were things I didn't add ..

like the fallen timber ..

and the mother + gatoraide + water I had in my hydration pack ;)

and falling over about 6 times, one of them my palm landed directly on a 1 inch diameter broken stick, without my leather gloves this would have surely ended in stitches, or worse .. it ended up breaking the skin but no marks left on the gloves :)

although another of my falls was in the clearing which was soft ground .. I made a pretty decent commando roll and popped up on my feat .. I don't think I even lost any ground !!!

there were also 3 times in my run where I didn't have map contact, but didn't want to relocate so used my best guess and was able to "get things to fit" .. which in past experience often leads to bad mistakes ... but I guess it is a matter of if you run too hard Navigation gets difficult, so I was pretty much where I needed to be. If you don't get these moments then you can probably run harder :D
