Who would you put on a Mt. Rushmore for Womens Orienteering?

Simone, Marita Skogum, Annichen Kringstad and?

Ulla Lindkvist

...and I suppose there may be a few Norwegian and Finnish names in contention too (Brit Volden, Hanne Staff, Liisa Veijalainen...)

Pink Socks:
Simone or Roger for greatest Swiss athlete of all time?
Oct 3, 2013 6:11 PM #
j-man:
They both personify everything that is great about Switzerland in my mind.

AZ:
@Pink Socks - I try not to answer the question because the answer in my mind has clearly nothing to do with orienteering ;-) Despite Simone's awesomeness, her skill, her fierce determination, her grace, and even her good looks - Roger has all of that too plus $71M per year in endorsements. Sad to say, money talks

AZ:
Although now I think about it, that could be a reason to say the Simone is the greater athlete because she is "purely" fantastic - not driven by the filthy lucre

Simone is unbelievable!

Tove has plenty of time to create her legend. I'm very happy that this one ended this way. It's making me all teary in Denver airport.

Agreed. It's been phenomenal.

Becks, I was getting teary too! Glad I'm not the only one. It was a fitting end.
