Yeah, I know, hard to take, $540 for 5 hours of labor. But I had tried to do the repair myself on our "newest" Volvo( actually owned by Sam), but after getting the old part off, I realized I was going to have to raise the engin, drop the front subframe, a couple more hours of work.
After trying to get into a local place, I tookit to Gerardo's, where I took my Peugeot in the 80's, he was the only place who would work on those cars! The first time I went there, I noted the Maserati and Mercedes and BMW' s in the shop and figured this guy knew what he was doing. Gerardo has passed on, but the mechanic I dealt with was very good, and the car was done promptly.
Anyway , a lot of money to replace $20 in parts( yes really , small parts).

Speaking of car repair, do you have a 28mm 12pt socket? Or a really really stout 1/2in ratchet? I'm trying to get a radius arm nut off, and I can't get any good angle on it with a 6pt and a breaker bar (and a 4ft piece of pipe...)
