We're working on a big meet in Harriman Nov 1-3; we hope you all will come and encourage your clubmates to come, compete, and hang out at the arena.
Erin's May/June/July report has been posted.
20 juniors trained in Europe with Erin for a couple weeks prior to JWOC. I believe there were over 600 training and race courses run by US juniors in Europe this summer, and about 10,000 controls visited. Anna Shafer-Skelton and Marianne Spencer were invaluable as assistant coach and chaperone.
Erin is asking clubs to put on junior trainings on 6 weekends this fall. Juniors who are on the Standing Team or traveled to Europe can help. We hope this will be an opportunity to bring more kids into orienteering, and to help the juniors in your clubs get to know each other.
