.... athough they're quite popular, so it's probably worth seeing if you can reserve a spot in advance.

Thanks, you read my mind, it looks like the fastest local course and one I've had an eye on doing before the season ends. However, I'm organising the annual SN cross-country at The Chantries next Wednesday. This way I can keep up my sleeve when I'm getting desperate for a PB next year, or closer to a milestone time ..... one day!!

I like Backstedt he did a lot of commenting on Eurosport during the classics... really interesting and up to date insights. Doing Ironmans now too.
