I recall a feature at WMOC '06 in Austria (root stock or boulder) that called for an AP from behind to be safe, maybe even optimal if lady luck did not show. Never considered it, lost a lot of time. Have to give credit to PG for that type of approach tho he did not have the leg (he was on a different course).
