Discussion: Hever?

I've just received an email saying the Hever Triathlon is being televised on Sky and Channel 4 this year and entries have gone through the roof. Are you planning on going again?

Hmm. It was well organised, a great course and presumably could only get better with bigger numbers and a bit of TV glitz and glamour. But that water was mighty cold in late September.

I said at the time that I wouldn't want to do it again as I was in a bit of a mess in T1. The only thing that might change my mind is I've since found out my head starts to spin if I don't wear ear plus, so that wasn't actually down to the cold.

Are you tempted? As I say if you can get over the cold it's a cracker.

Agreed perfect event, except it's so late in the year. My brain was struggling to work in T1, double hat next time. Still reckon its worthwhile taking extra time to put a long sleeved top on. I want to go back maybe in 2014, unfinished business!

I'm tempted with the evening series which runs when it theoretically is a bit warmer...

Come to the Cotswolds with me on the 11th aug. Warm time of the year and a flat course.
