Is there anywhere to set up a tent?
Are pets welcome?
If you want to set up a tent, you will need to go through the State Park website and rent a campsite. We are not allowed to let people set up tents at Shehaqua. Here is the Hickory Run website:

Is there anyplace nearby to rent a canoe?
I'm sure there must be. A google search would probably turn up options. Are there places to canoe at Hickory Run? I don't think of it as a canoeing locale but I could be mistaken.
It didn't look like there was anything at Hickory Run but I think there is at Beltzville. I figured I'd ask though as a local might have more knowledge than I could find on google. Thanks.
Local is relative! I live about two hours away in Philadelphia.
Not sure if you are looking for flat or moving water but on the western edge of HRSP is the Lehigh River and there are several outfitters that rent for river trips.
Len's right - Just check the town of White Haven for the outfitters - they run a lot of rafting trips down the Lehigh River, especially when the Francis Walter Dam has a release. Beltzville has some canoeing and kayaking as the lake is much larger than Hickory Run's lakes.
