indeed a great day out there. Thanks Bender, Mark and all GHO supportive gang. And next time Chris tell us there are at least 3 crossings ( not 2 what you mentioned on that shortvideo- for which i cannot find the link anymore) of that waist deep water/marsh. I was ready for 2 but not for 3 times :)

Yeah really enjoyed this race and did Bender ever nail that 3 hour winning time!

The one week delay made absolutely necessary due to ice storm and flooding could not have been easy for the organizers. So a huge thanks to the race directors (Bender and Griz) and registrar (Bash) for all the extra work that required and to Toronto OC and Orienteering Ontario for making changes in their schedule to make the GRR change possible.

The controlled blast section at the end of the race was insane. Racing head to head with Nick's team and trying to focus on the mega trail network (many trails which were hard to see) with controls everywhere added a little anxiety at the end of the race.
