Hello!

Some of you may have heard that Rock Creek Ramble got cancelled, but we are here to tell you that it is BACK ON tanks to the generosity of land owner Rex Harder. Registration is open at www.three15er.com/rockcreekramble

Harder's Hercules Ranch features scores of square kilometers of channeled scablands terrain, the same sort that made Rock Creek Ramble at Escure Ranch an annual favorite. This nearly treeless terrain will refine your contour reading skills while stately basalt cliffs lure the camera out of your pocket.

An added perk of this year's venue is better accessibility, as it is adjacent to Sprague Lake and just minutes from I-90. Motel and camping options are just minutes away in Sprague.

Just as last year, we are offering an optional training day on Saturday, followed by the 10-Hour, 7-Hour, and 4-Hour races on Sunday. Even among experienced navigators, many have found that the training day serves not only as a good nav skill building session, but also as an excellent warm up for using the USGS map. Training events will include compass and distance estimation, map contact/relocation, and precision map reading.

Early registration prices are available through Saturday, 4/6, and pre-registration is available through Wednesday 4/10 for a significant savings off event-day prices. Volunteering can help reduce your entry fee, and volunteer opportunities include registration, finish timing and results, post-event refreshments, and course pick-up.

We will be offering t-shirts to commemorate this event! Shirts can be pre-ordered through 4/3 with your registration for just $11 or purchased after that or on event day for $15. Be sure to Like us on Facebook if you'd like to see a sneak peek of this design.

Again, we appreciate your patience and we are very excited to produce one of our favorite events of the year. Bring your friends and we'll see you in Sprague!

Yours in navigation,

Eric, Rebecca, and Mark

And I heard that current and past US and North American Rogaine champs might participate as well :)
