If I got it right, basicly it's micr-o without map/scale change and it is supposed to be used in both individual races and relays.
Comments? Does anybody know are they planning to use it in a major event like WOC soon?
My understanding from what I read in these articles is that MacrO will be used in Norway at 'Norwegian Spring' - one of the first/largest competitions this spring.
This meet will be used as a selection race for the Norwegian NOM team + it is also a WRE.
Comments in Tore Sandvik's blog show that there are some negative feelings among runners in Norway too. That Swedish runners have been very negative to this MicrO/MacrO concept is well known from the goings-on before WOC in Denmark...
