2. Wow, this is early...

@GuyO last year we had preliminary selections at the same time followed by later selections based on training and results. Based on feedback from the athletes, we changed the selection process this year. The early selection allows athletes to get the best possible deals on travel and to focus their training towards JWOC. We are pretty proud to be quite athlete centred and have both a junior representative (Emily Ross) and an official Athletes' Rep (Jeff Teutsch) on our High Performance Committee. The AR also sits as a full member on the Orienteering Canada Board.

Does Orienteering Canada have a plan if another junior takes a massive step forward and starts kicking ass and taking names and wants to go? Others could be named? (Just in theory)

What's the average age of that Jr Mens team? Couple of guys with lots of time as juniors still!

Adam was born in '94, Trevor and Alex in '95, and Robbie in '96. So an average age of 18 for the men.

Kendra and Jenn were born in '93, Molly was born in '94, and Pia in '96. So an average age of 18.75 for the women.

No, others won't be named. Selection is based (not wholly) on 2012 results.
