Discussion: OCAD on a Mac with Crossover

I was wondering if anyone has had success using OCAD on a Mac with Codeweaver's CrossOver emulation software.

I've been using OCAD this way for a while now, and all the basic functionality works great! However the licensing does not work correctly. I can install and start the software once. But when I shut it down and restart, OCAD throws an error: "Installation not correct! Error code 207". I did contact OCAD's tech support about this and didn't get much help; they did say this was an issue requiring OCAD be reinstalled. They did say other users have gotten OCAD to work on Crossover. When OCAD resets my license information I can reinstall and it works. An annoying workaround I've been living with for a while. Thanks for any advice!

For whatever record, I'm using OCAD 10 standard on a Mac with Snow Leopard.

I tried ocad 9 with crossover and could not get it to work. Got parallels but that was funky so have kept my pc to run ocad and iPad for ghettocad.

OCAD 10 has worked w/o difficulty via Parallels on my Mac w/ OS X. Haven't tried Crossover.

I use OCAD in VirtualBox on my Mac and it works great! I've never had a problem with it...

Ditto. I'm using version 8 though.
