Here is The Weather Channel fall foliage map for today covering the NAOC venue. Color should be at its peak this weekend!

Also here are some Terra and Aqua "true-color" satelite images of NYC and the Delaware Water Gap from Oct 13. I contrast enhanced these a bit to accentuate the color difference between the still-green and colored trees:




The past few days have been a little cloudy over the venue, but here is one of today's passes over the eastern US. Trees in the mountains are peaking.

Yes, just not many Canadians, unfortunately.

But, the podium may be open for photo-ops after the Americans collect their hardware...
