Discussion: OCAD 11 Trial save as

I downloaded the OCAD 11 Trial version. Is there some reason I can only save as OCAD 11 format and not a previous version? I think the demo is fully featured but I thought you could use OCAD 11 to save in some older versions. I couldn't, but I am sure there may be some other obvious reason why not.

Any ideas?

My idea is that they are trying to incite you to buy a real version. Eventually it'll piss off the OCAD 11 users that they have to export different versions each time they send a map around.

That is likely true, but if it is the case, I am pissed off enough not to buy a real version, since this version is useless to me.

It is only a trial version. This saving issue waa similar in ocad10 trial. It made me buy the real version, so it works, apparently.

OCAD now has a "Starter" edition which includes course setting for a much more reasonable price.
