I get online support from my coach in Sweden, as I live in The Netherlands myself. We use
OLT dagbok as a tool to plan and track trainings weekly. In between we catch up via e-mail/skype.
Such a cooperation requires discipline and a honest attitude by the athlete.
I often travel to Sweden for races and training camps which makes we meet in person as well.
For me the solution as described above works quite well, but I think working together with a coach in real person is preferred. Especially as he/she can support you better with your technical trainings.
