It seems crazy that the European Champs would have such a short course. It would be good to see a map from the event or to find out how fast the terrain was. 100km in 17hrs is good going, and that may be straight line distance too!
I feel a bit sorry for the guys that did 17hrs but one of them must have had a control that didn't register so they dropped down quite a few places, they would almost certainly have still won even with that error if the course wasn't able to be cleared.
So what's the story with the Eensaars, did they get a credit for the non-registered CP or not? If not, congratulations to Oleg and Evgeniy!
Distance to clear the course was +125 kilometers. Eensaars missed a punch ie one had a full score and the other had 287 according to the results now on the event web site
