That was my downfall - not the trees as I found a reasonable way through on the R side. Further along though I stubbed my foot on something and threw my R shoulder way, way out trying to counteract that and prevent a fall. Could barely move and stumbled up to 6 considering walking it in. But when I fell shortly after that landing on the elbow, all the server pain eased enough to continue just very slowly to avoid further stubs.

Maybe it's better just to avoid that reentrant. :-) (I also went through the tree on the right side this time, but was burdened by the stands and the hiking pole sticking up out of my pack that kept catching on things....)

I noted from ndobbs QR that he went left of it and stayed high, avoiding the downed tree. Probably a better route.

Last time I did the 6-7 leg I slid down a rockface just north of the straight line 3/5ths of the way through and had a nice sits-bruise for several weeks.

Hope your shoulder is feeling better by the weekend!

Thanks - a bit better each day. Hope the bits eventually all team up at the same time.
