Haven't tried the 212's, but I like your taste in Gu flavors. :-)

My new 212's debuted at the sprint in GA. :-)

I approve of the caffeinated jet blackberry stuff. Where did you order it from?

Amazon, cause they did sets of 8 for $10, instead of committing to the whole set of 24...

And on the 212s, usually I just use them for sprints, but took just them down to georgia and was happy in the woods in them and my ankles seemed to flip less, maybe because they are even lower to the ground than shoes with spikes...

The 190s are even lower, but I suspect they are too thin for some people's soles. Good for the soul, though.

The 212's are a two-arrow shoe, so have the same differential (6mm) as the O-Roc 280 if you're looking for a spiked shoe. I wear the 340's and like them a lot but they're a 3-arrow (9mm) with the xtra 'cush' and a little more forefoot protection.

I get my GU, Nuun and other supplements from REI. If you order 12 or more full price gels, bars etc (mix & match flavors/brands) you get 20% off, plus 10% back as annual member dividend, plus I get another 5% by using my REI Visa - so that brings the GU from $1.45 down to under a buck. Mmmm, ok will keep the 190s in mind for next time, or maybe a only-sprint shoe, assuming my sole can survive for 15 min... I have the O-roc 280, but I think it's a size too big and don't like how they fit, should move down a size next time in them...

And good to know about REI Gu deal, for next time...

for a minute, I thought 212 is a new GU flavor, almost started a Google search for it; I am getting old and outdated :)

I thought Espresso Love and Jet Blackberry were new shoe styles.

Sam has requested I bring some caffiened GU to Sweden next week.
I think INOV8 should drop the numbers, and name their new shoe Mud Love.
