World University Orienteering Championships Team Selected!
The biannual WUOC is being held in Alicante, Valencia, Spain, July 2-July 6. Following the Intercollegiate Championships hosted by COC, the US WUOC Team has been named. Congratulations to the following:
1. Keith Andersen USMAOC
2. John Williams USMAOC
3. Charles Whitaker USMAOC
4. Theodore Fong USMAOC
5. Riley McDonald USMAOC
6. Matthew Luehrmann (1st alt) USMAOC
7. Andrew Eck (2nd alt) USMAOC
8. Nolan Miles (3rd alt) USMAOC
1. Hannah Burgess USMAOC
2. Alison Campbell DVOA (by petition)
3. Tori Borish COC
4. McKenzie Hudgins USMAOC
Although the team has been named, there are several team members who will not be able to attend the championships due to (what else???) school and work commitments. The updated team roster will be made public as soon as it is finalized. Additional information regarding the competition can be found http://sd.ua.es/orienteering-championship/
The wUoc team in not getting any funding from OUSA, any support that you can give to the team would be greatly appreciated....visit the concession stand at the West Point meet or make a donation directly to the wUoc team by going to http://orienteeringusa.org/support and clicking on the "Give Direct" button. You will have the opportunity to direct your donation to the University Team.

Congrats, everyone - and major props to Alison and Tori for keeping all those cadets (and soon to be 2LTs) straight!

I think there is a bit of a typo, the World Military Champs are in Denmark in early June
