Saturday and Sunday's events at Chattahoochee Bend Park have a few natural hazards. Poison Ivy is out and about and mostly can be found as a hairy looking vine growing on trees. The ticks are thriving thanks to a warm spring. We've been using Sawyers tick spray (available at Amazon or maybe garden stores.) And prickly pear cactus are growing in and around the flat rock. Best to pick these little buggers off as soon as you get them, or they tend to dig in deeper.

Sawyers Tick Spray---hmmmm. I've never heard of it but I'm curious. Have people used it a lot and does it work?

Can't carry it on the plane. Will organizers have some spray available for travelers?

Can you bring it in checked luggage?

Checked luggage? What is that?

It's a special provision that airlines have for people who want to bring guns with them on vacation.

I just checked; I could carry it on the plane if it fit in the 1-qt liquids pouch. Not going to take up room with it, though; I'll take my chances with the ticks.
