In Brenda's training log (http://www.attackpoint.org/weeklyactivity.jsp/user...), she mentions running in the Timberland Vapor Trail. Are these new? I've never heard of them/seen them anywhere. They sound cool. Anyone know anything about them? Where to get them? Frankly, I didn't know Timberland made good running shoes, and since I like Timberland's hiking stuff, was looking to learn more. Thanks.

Mike, I design and test hiking and mountaineering footwear. The Timberland Vapor Trail is a trail running shoe with strong lateral support and an aggressive tread. It features a new, lightweight and breathable vapor barrier fabric which keeps feet dry when running through mud, streams, and rain. It is not yet available on the market, but will likely be introduced by Timberland in Spring 2007, probably under a different name. Thanks for your inquiry. Brendalynn G.

Hey Brendalynn,
Thanks for your response. Cool to hear that Timberland is coming out with a rugged trail runner. I've been looking forward to something like that. I will keep an eye out for it!

Hey Brendalynn,
Do you know what this product will be called when it does come out, if not "Vapor Trail"? I'd like to look out for it.
Thanks again.

You Beastie Boy dudes would look sharp sporting a set of matching Vapor Trail running shoes at your next gig.
